WHY WE'RE HERE & WHAT WE DO
We are two brothers who, after working our whole adult lives for other companies in the specialist car industry, finally decided to set up our own business. The decision was, ultimately, very easy: our lives would be much more enjoyable if we could turn our spare-time activities into full-time activities. Harvey spent the entirety of his spare time thinking about, designing and looking at old cars; whereas Gregory spent his time researching, improving and selling them. Sounds like we could combine these skills into a business…

SPACESHIP started out purely as a design consultancy for the ‘restomod’ world and soon transitioned into us wanting to apply these skills to our own cars too. Meaning we’re able to control entire projects from start to finish and have them exactly as we first imagined. Thanks to our motor-trade-family upbringing, we have been surrounded by interesting cars since birth. As such, we have hugely eclectic tastes and can find the joys in almost any car, which is hopefully apparent with the cars we have at Spaceship!
SALES: Our main focus is the sales of classic and modern-classic cars; all examples of which we consider to be cars that we’d want to own and use ourselves. As any car enthusiast will understand, we could happily spend hours talking about why we like each car have in stock and what makes them special.

THE SPACESHIP SPECIALS: This is a curation of eccentric and effortlessly usable cars with our own Spaceship twist. We pick an outstanding example of a classic car that we have always hankered after, further accentuate the character with our own design elements and modernise certain mechanical and usability aspects. Of course, we aim to keep everything period-correct to the car, as if it was an unknown factory upgrade.

THE IGLOOS: situated on the old RAF Upper Heyford site, are our absolute ideal setting for Spaceship. We wanted a place with proper character, enough dry space to play with/store cars, and the right lighting for our studio (you can block all of the natural light out). The 5-miles of private roads and acres of empty runway are just an added bonus. Please do contact us before visiting as we can’t always be here as much we’d like to.
